yesterday, anja rubik and her husband sasha knezevic relaunched a magazine they founded 3 years ago – 25 Magazine - a magazine dedicated to classy erotica and acting as an ode to the female form.

the first issue has been photographed only by women with contributors including Annie Leibovitz, Ellen von Unwerth and Inez van Lamsweerde, and best of all; the first edition boasts 300 pages, with no advertising.

Rubik, a Polish model who spent some of her youth growing up in Umtata, South Africa, said in a recent interview with Style that “25 is basically directed toward very strong-minded, ambitious women, who are very comfortable with themselves and their sexuality. I was thinking a lot recently and looking how sex is approached nowadays, and nudity, and bodies. Erotica kind of disappeared. The way we approach sex is either really prude or very vulgar.”

here is quick video of one of Anja’s friends who was part of the first edition, Abbey Lee Kershaw.
